While it is very easy to waste a lot of time on the internet doing all manner of things, I have a few accounts that I really enjoy and help me de-stress and if I am lucky I might even learn something along the way too.
I thought you might like to check out some of the options I’ve found. If you have some accounts you like to follow or watch for some positive entertainment and to de-stress, please let me know.
Here are some social media accounts I watch to laugh, relax and distress with. Feel free to check them out yourself.
Cake Mama Kim Ball on Instagram. I have always had a lingering desire to try cake decorating. Or at least watch other people do it. I really enjoy the creative process and seeing how a beautiful cake comes together.
The same goes for cupcakes. For anyone who is asking, cupcakes are my favourite dessert. Hint, hint! So it’s not too far of a stretch for me to enjoy watching someone decorate them too. I like watching one account on Instagram that comes up with the most amazing pieces. Check out Caked By Rach
Jeff Mack Designs on Facebook. There is something a bit hypnotic about watching furniture and decor being created with acrylics and wood. It’s beautiful and has amazing colour combinations.
SB Pressure Washing on Facebook and Youtube. It’s amazing how effective a pressure washer can be! Maybe it’s my personality but I really enjoy seeing someone take something really disorganized or dirty and making it organized and sparkling clean. He also has another account called SB Mowing. It’s the same idea, only with lawns.
Now maybe I am just a complete sap, but I really enjoy watching videos of service men and women who surprise family and friends who don’t know they are coming home.
I’ve given you my choices on my favourite social media platforms. But I know there are lots of other options and websites to find things you like to watch depending on your personality. Tell me which ones are your favourites.
